Dear Brothers
In Matthew 9 and Mark 6 there are two similar passages. Matthew is concerning about the spiritual life and the needs of that multitude souls, but Mark is concerning about to feed that multitude, but Jesus was there the MASTER, the ONE that had made so many miracles already and they could not imagine what was going to happen. It is funny but there are many people like that today with no faith even though they are in the church, going to the church regularly. As you can see those guys Marlk and Metthew they were with Jesus for 3 years and they still fail. We are like that we have a really short memory, Shouldn’t we?.
We are 5 people here in our home plus around 300 Indians in 4 villages in the Amazon of Brazil. We live on the support sent from COF and the Bible School students from Hibernia Baptist Church we share all that we receive with our ministry and the Apinajes of our 4 villages. We must believe that Jesus has the same eyes, the same compassion that HE had in Matthew and Mark passages today…HE is LOVE!
JESUS is the same yesterday, today and forever as HE was for those 5000 people for almost 2000 years ago that HE had nourished with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes. What a miracle!
We had a great experience with GOD this Christmas me and my family and the Apinajes Indians. God showed us that we can see the real meaning of Christmas everyday, that we don’t have to be worried about anything even in a time like that when we all can see even in a place like Araguatins - TO many families going and buying for their kids gifts and they have a table full with all kind of goodies.
We were trying to save some money to buy a bike for our kids and gifts for the Apinajes kids as well. But with a visit of some brothers from São Paulo something happened and it changed everything we had planned. But by the faith I took 90 simple gifts to the Apinajes children and told mine to hold on till January 2007 because the Lord would provide. And the LORD provided more then we need and I can tell you that this truly happen when we trust Jesus, sure that HE is in our lives everyday and we let HIM in control of all. This is a great Christmas. Thank you.
What HE did with His Apostles? He used them as HE used you as His tools to bless us to confirm that HE is faithful and that HE loves and cares for us so much that we cannot even think of how great is His love for us and for you too.
We want to thank GOD for your lives: We want to thank you for the offerings and our prayer is that the LORD will multiply gratefully and abundantly in your lives in HIS holy name. And we are sending you this picture so you can keep on praying for us and our ministry with the Apinajes Indians. H A P P Y N E W Y E A R !!! Fulfilled with great realizations in HIS presence GOD Bless yah, Accept our love in HIM. Jeff., Adriana, Jeff II, Esperança, Tihomir 12/3/2006 News good News from the Missionary Family in the Amazon THANK GOD! WE HAD A GREAT YEAR IN HIS PRESENCE!
I thank my GOD upon every rememberance of you; Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy; for your fellowship in the Gospel for the first day until now; being confident of this very thing, that HE which hath begun a good work in you will peforme it till the day of Jesus Christ. Phil.1:3-6

Praise the Lord we maid it!!!
By Wednesday I tought everything was taken care of. We just have to leave the next day Thursday 13th around 7AM to get the meat, the softdrinks, the Ice, and then go straight to the Palmeiras Village for the baptism celebretion. It was set to start at 10 AM. But right by the entrance of the Buriti Cumprido Village around 50 miles I met Miguel one of the Indians that were supposed to get baptized and he told me that the car didn´t show to pick them up. I knew that I had to think fast and decide it I told them to wait for me till around noon when I should be back with a car to pick them up I took longer some of the Indians didn´t show for the baptism for particular reasons, spiritual reason, or because it took too long. The number were supposed to be 62 we had baptized 32 we had almos 200 hundred children to present to GOD we only presented 80 children which we all saw as a great victory over satan. He tried to discourage us but we persevere till we have the service done. Praise God! Hallelujah! All is for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ believe that we are only instruments for His service here. Amen. But call to rememberance the former days in which after you were illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions Heb10:32
Perseverance, Joy and Victory
THE BATTLE STARTED RIGHT HERE.
4 cars that we had contacted for the transportation 3 of them had broken on the way to pick the Indians up and the forth couldn´t come because of one signature. Besides the mission car had broken the gears of the 4X4 function in the Village and it could not go anywhere praise GOD! It got broken on the Village. So I had to put fuel on the Bus to go on I got back to the village around 4 PM The group from São Paulo and the Indians ate. I decide not to think about anything till we had the service finished. The white suits for the service were on the bus 3 miles back on the rough road we had some brothers to come and get them it took one hour and the half more. After the Indians and the Pastors dressed up and line them up we went to the Igarapé we had the service started at 06:30 PM it was dark already. Because of so much going on I haven´t eaten anything I just had breakfast. I just ate at home around 2 AM when we came back and I went to bed at 3 AM on the 14 th Friday. The service finished after the cult and the Lord´s supper at 10 PM I don´t know yet how to get our mission car out of the village it is on a heavy sand road and I´m really sure it is going to be very expensive to get it out. If we had an insurance it could be affordable
Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ!
